A Constant Evolution

Villa Anita has come a long way since its beginnings as a homestead in a small desert town smack dab in the Mojave desert. Recently, Villa Anita has become a 501(c)3 corporation devoted to educating visitors about the creative reuse of materials and a sustainable way of life in the American desert. Through tours and participation, Villa Anita sparks creativity in those that engage with it. Now, students, curious travelers, and artists-in-residence have turned Villa Anita into a workshop for innovation, a sanctuary, and certified wildlife habitat.
